The Kennybrook Difference
At Kennybrook, we focus on the individual needs of each child. We are a community of more than 300 campers, but we prefer to think of that as 300 “ones.” To meet the needs of the widest possible range of families, we offer a number of session options. You can choose from 2-week, 3.5-week, and 7-week sessions, all with accessible tuition rates. Nestled in the Catskill Mountains, 90 minutes North of New York City, we are a family owned, family run, co-ed, overnight camp where literally everyone knows every body. Additionally, it is important to note that we are a 100% nut-free environment.
The Kennybrook Family
Approximately 300 campers, ranging from ages 6-16, and 125 staff members call Kennybrook their second home each summer. Our staff is made up of long-term adult educators and college-age leaders, and many of our counselors are former Kennybrook campers. Our staff members take the time to get to know every camper in order to help them have the best possible camp experience, and our engaged directors are always available to speak to parents throughout the summer. We’ve created such a special place at Kennybrook that once people come, they never want to leave! We are proud to share that we have over an 85% camper return rate each summer.
The Kennybrook Program
At our camp, you will find the traditional activities of an overnight camp and more including private athletic lessons, trips out west for older campers, and special initiatives like “Kennybrook Kindness” where we learn about and practice community-wide kindness. Additionally, we understand that in today’s fast-paced world, not everyone can fit an entire summer of sleepaway camp into their jam-packed schedules. That’s why in addition to our standard 7-week program, we also offer two shorter 3.5-week and 2-week sessions. Our flexible sessions are the perfect fit for new campers who are looking for a shorter camp experience, and for kids with busy summer schedules.
