9. What is “Orientation”?

Before camp starts, an interactive 5-day orientation covers all aspects of camp, counselor responsibilities and performance expectations. Orientation is also a great opportunity to get to know the other staff and the facility. The workshops also focus on developing techniques to be successful in dealing with campers.
